UNDER THE BANNER OF THE BURNING SUN!

We are happy to announce the formation of “Burning Sun”, a Hungary-based power metal project named after the eponymous Helloween song.

The debut album has already been in the works for quite some time and there’s still much work to do but since we couldn’t wait to make this announcement, we decided to release the first song as an exclusive preview demo.

Our project started with the concept and lyrical ideas of Zoltán Papi (bass) turned into songs when Pancho Ireland of Merciless Law (vocals, guitars) joined the metal crusade. We are keen to deliver an energizing, catchy, and fun power metal album.
The 8-track dose of metal is planned for the first half of 2023 and aimed to pay homage to legends, such as Helloween, Accept, Grave Digger, Running Wild, and German heavy/power/speed metal in general.

“Emaly” is about a warrior of holy light, a paladin whom the upcoming album’s loose concept is centered around. Based on Zoltán’s lyrics, the music was written by Cederick Forsberg (Blazon Stone) and Pancho.
